POSITION OVERVIEW:

ADB is seeking an Operations Director to translate strategy into executable plans across a line of business. This position will oversee an entire function, market, or operation segment and ensure financial and operational success through clear and accountable leadership of project management teams. The ideal candidate will show extreme ownership, be highly accountable, and ALL-IN for the financial and operational success of the segment they oversee.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own operational and financial success of an entire function, market, or operational segment
  • Translate organizational strategy into executable operational plans and measurable business outcome
  • Develop and implement scalable operational processes that support efficiency, quality, safety, and growth
  • Establish and maintain operational priorities that support strategic business objectives
  • Ensure appropriate allocation of labor, equipment, and operational resources to meet project and business demands
  • Monitor operational performance metrics and adjust plans to address changing market conditions and business needs
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, profitability, cost control, and operational financial planning
  • Drive financial discipline and operational performance improvements to achieve revenue and margin targets
  • Partner with senior leadership to support business growth and long-term financial objectives
  • Act as a key operational leader in organizational planning, decision-making, and market growth initiatives
  • Serves as a strategic leader of a team of Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, and Program Managers, responsible for people management, production, performance, quality, training, etc.
  • Build high-performing teams through coaching, talent development, succession planning, and performance management
  • Own, drive, and execute team KPI’s to contribute to the overall department and team scorecard success
  • Upholds ADB’s safety culture, leads by example, and drives a philosophy of ZERO throughout the entire organization
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptops, copiers, and cell phones
  • This role operates out of an environmentally controlled office environment
  • When working on site, will be required to wear common PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hart hat, and safety-toed boots

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • 5-7+ years of technical field experience and/or multi-regional project management experience required
  • 3-5+ years of operations leadership experience required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent strongly preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel nationwide is required

The starting pay for this position is $135,000 and may vary based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
