ACERTUS is looking for a Director, Data & Analytics to lead the next evolution of our enterprise data and analytics strategy. 

This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible leadership role at a pivotal moment in our data transformation. ACERTUS is modernizing how we use data across the organization- from our enterprise data warehouse and executive reporting to self-service analytics and AI-enabled intelligence. We are looking for a leader who can help turn that investment into measurable business impact.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Technology, the Director, Data & Analytics will own the strategy, governance, and continued evolution of our enterprise data ecosystem. You will partner closely with leaders across Operations, Sales, Finance, and Technology to create trusted metrics, strengthen decision-making, and build a scalable data environment that serves as a true single source of truth.

This is not a role for someone who wants to lead from a distance. We are looking for a hands-on, strategic leader who is comfortable working directly with data, can translate business questions into meaningful analytics and data products, and knows how to bring stakeholders along through transformation and change.

• Lead the strategy and continued evolution of ACERTUS’ enterprise data and analytics capabilities.
• Own and enhance our Snowflake data environment, ensuring the platform is scalable, governed, reliable, and positioned to support future growth.
• Partner with executive and functional leaders to translate business priorities into trusted metrics, reporting, analytics, and actionable insights.
• Establish consistent enterprise metrics and executive scorecards so leaders across the organization are measuring performance from a shared source of truth.
• Expand executive dashboards, business intelligence solutions, and self-service analytics capabilities.
• Build and implement a practical data governance framework encompassing data quality, access, lineage, documentation, stewardship, and standardized definitions.
• Lead the development of ACERTUS’s long-term data and analytics roadmap, including opportunities involving advanced analytics, automation, and AI-enabled intelligence.
• Clarify operating models and ownership between the centralized Data & Analytics function and analysts embedded within business teams.
• Build and lead a high-performing data organization while leveraging external partners and contract resources effectively.
• Partner closely with architecture, engineering, QA, and other technology teams to ensure sustainable delivery and long-term ownership of enterprise data assets.
• Drive adoption of new data capabilities and help strengthen a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.

• 5–10 years of progressive experience leading data and analytics functions.
• Hands-on experience working with Snowflake in a modern cloud data environment.
• Strong SQL capabilities and the technical depth to engage directly with data, architecture, analytics, and engineering teams.
• Proven experience leading a data or analytics transformation and driving adoption across an organization.
• Strong business partnership skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into meaningful metrics, reporting, decisions, and data products.
• Experience establishing trusted business metrics and delivering analytics or BI solutions that executives and business leaders actively use.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, governance, modeling, quality, lineage, and access controls.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate with senior and executive-level stakeholders.
• Experience building, developing, or leading data and analytics talent while operating as a hands-on player-coach.
• Experience managing external partners, consultants, or vendors while maintaining strong internal ownership of data strategy and capabilities.

• Experience with Sigma, Tableau, dbt, or similar modern analytics and BI tools.
• Experience building or implementing data governance programs.
• A data product or product ownership background.
• Experience applying AI or machine learning to enterprise data with appropriate governance.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, automotive, or another operationally complex environment.
• Experience within a fast-growing or private-equity-backed organization.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $170,000–$185,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus opportunity.
