Job description

Overview

About Intuit

Intuit is a global financial technology platform that helps consumers and small to mid-market businesses overcome their most important financial challenges. Our platform — including TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp — serves more than 100 million customers worldwide. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to prosper, and we work relentlessly to find new ways to deliver on that belief.

Intuit is consistently recognized as one of the best places to work, including Fortune's 100 Best Companies to Work For, Glassdoor's Best Places to Work, and Fortune's Best Workplaces in Technology.

Overview

Be a part of one of Intuit's biggest bets: win the mid-market. Our Global Business Solutions Group is investing to serve mid-market businesses that have outgrown current tools and need a connected platform to run finance, payroll, payments, and operations at scale. Search is one of our highest-intent acquisition channels, and it is where a growing share of mid-market buyers begin their evaluation.

We are looking for a Staff Marketing Manager (IC) to own paid search strategy and performance across the mid-market portfolio, including  Intuit Enterprise Suite and other Intuit offerings. Success in this role means continuing to evolve the strategy, and optimizing toward qualified pipeline and long-term customer value not just clicks, leads, or front-end conversion volume.

You will have ownership on writing the playbook for our growing mid-market search strategy — including how Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and MQA (Marketing Qualified Account) signals shape targeting and prioritization  determining what we test, what we scale, and what we stop doing.

This role reports to the Head of Mid-Market Media, with a dotted line to the lead for Holistic Search, with close collaboration with like-minded search and GEO experts. You will also partner closely with product marketing, sales, analytics, creative, lifecycle, and our agency partners to drive ABM account progression, MQA-to-opportunity conversion, and customer growth across mid-market.

Responsibilities

  • Own the channel. Set and execute paid search strategy across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising for the mid-market portfolio account structure, keyword and query strategy, bidding, budget allocation, and pacing against growth and efficiency targets.

  • Optimize the pipeline. Partner with Analytics to build the measurement and bidding architecture that connects search spend to MQAs, qualified opportunities, and revenue, including offline conversion imports, value-based bidding signals, and lead-quality feedback loops with sales.

  • Capture and generate new pipeline demand. Manage distinct strategies for brand defense, competitive conquesting, and category and solution-level non-brand demand.

  • Run testing agendas and learning plans.  Design and prioritize experiments across keyword campaigns, audiences (including ABM account-match lists), automated bidding strategies, Performance Max, ad copy, extensions, and landing experiences.

  • Improve what happens after the click. Partner with product marketing, web, and creative to sharpen ad copy and landing experiences for a mid-market audience.

  • Lead the agency. Provide clear priorities, briefs, and decision-making to our media agency partners, and hold the work to a high standard of rigor and speed.

  •  Influence with data. Own channel reporting and business reviews, including MQA and account-engagement progression. Translate performance into clear recommendations for marketing and business leaders, and contribute channel inputs to quarterly and annual planning.

  • Capitalize on search trends. Track platform roadmaps, AI-driven changes to search behavior and ad delivery, and competitor activity — and turn that into testable hypotheses so that Intuit is ahead.

  • Partner across the funnel. Work cross-functionally across the media team and other

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years of hands-on paid search or performance marketing experience for B2B brands with ABM or MQA practice, with a track record of driving profitable growth at meaningful scale

  • Deep working expertise in Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising  campaign architecture, Smart Bidding, audience layering, conversion tracking, and attribution mechanics

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a substantial media budget and make strategic allocation decisions under ambiguity

  • Strong analytical skills and genuine comfort in the data and AI

  • Experience designing and interpreting experiments with clear post-action plans

  • Experience managing agency partners or vendors, with the ability to set direction and raise the bar

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to make a clear recommendation to senior leaders and to bring skeptics along

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience marketing to mid-market or B2B buyers with longer, committee-driven purchase cycles

  • Familiarity with sales-assisted or hybrid go-to-market motions and the metrics that connect marketing to pipeline (MQL to SQL to closed-won)

  • Experience with value-based bidding, LTV modeling, or offline conversion feedback into search platforms

  • Working knowledge of incrementality testing, media mix modeling, or multi-touch attribution and their respective limits

  • Experience with SaaS or subscription business models, and ABM tools like Demand Base

  • Fluency with AI-assisted workflows for campaign management, query analysis, or creative production

How We Work

We are a team that values people who drive results with a can-do attitude, a spirit of openness and collaboration, and accountability. We move fast, we share what we learn, and we have a test and learn mindset. You will be trusted with real budget and real decisions early, and you will have teammates who are genuinely invested in your success and growth.

Come help us win the mid-market.
