We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and develop a team of mechanical design professionals supporting complex industrial projects. This leadership role combines technical expertise, team development, project execution, engineering systems oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions that meet customer expectations, project schedules, and business objectives.

What You'll Do Engineering Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanical design engineers supporting multiple concurrent projects.
  • Manage engineering workload distribution, staffing priorities, and resource planning.
  • Drive employee development through coaching, training, and performance support.
  • Promote collaboration, standardization, and best practices across multiple engineering locations.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Design & Technical Execution
  • Oversee the development of detailed 3D models, assemblies, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings for engineered industrial equipment.
  • Ensure engineering deliverables meet customer requirements, quality standards, project schedules, and budget expectations.
  • Serve as a key technical resource supporting project execution and complex design challenges.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on advanced mechanical design and engineering problem-solving.
  • Oversee administration, implementation, and optimization of:
    • Autodesk Inventor
    • Autodesk Vault
    • AutoCAD Plant 3D
    • Autodesk Construction Cloud
  • Establish and maintain engineering standards, CAD procedures, work instructions, and best practices.
  • Support troubleshooting, system improvements, and engineering data management initiatives.
Project Execution & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with project managers, engineers, manufacturing teams, and other stakeholders to align engineering deliverables with project goals.
  • Monitor engineering schedules, project milestones, and resource utilization.
  • Identify and mitigate engineering risks throughout project execution.
  • Support engineering estimates, scope development, and resource forecasting activities.
  • Analyze engineering and project performance data to identify improvement opportunities.Develop KPI reporting and performance metrics to drive operational excellence.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and workflows that enhance productivity and quality.
  • Stay current on industry trends, engineering software advancements, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of engineering leadership or team management experience.
  • Proven experience mentoring, coaching, and developing engineering professionals.
  • Strong proficiency with:
    • Autodesk Inventor
    • Autodesk Vault
    • AutoCAD
    • AutoCAD Plant 3D
    • Autodesk Construction Cloud
  • Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with workload planning, resource management, and project coordination.
Preferred
  • Experience in project-based engineering, industrial manufacturing, or EPC environments.
  • Manufacturing or fabrication support experience.
  • Field installation or site support experience.
  • Experience with Navisworks and exposure to E3D.
  • Experience developing engineering standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Strong data analysis, KPI reporting, and process improvement experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance engineering quality, schedules, and budgets while building high-performing teams.
