Job Description:

The Product Line Manager - Bag is responsible for the overall strategy, lifecycle management, and financial performance of BW Converting's Bag product portfolio, including the Hudson-Sharp brand. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management & Strategic Marketing, this role leads product strategy from market analysis and product development through commercialization and ongoing portfolio optimization. The Product Line Manager partners cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain to drive profitable growth, increase market share, and deliver innovative customer-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute product lifecycle and multi-generation product strategies.
  • Lead new product development (NPD), product launches, and portfolio management initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, pricing, and sales enablement tools.
  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, market share, and product vitality goals.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations to execute strategic initiatives.
  • Manage product line forecasting, pricing, and P&L performance.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and key stakeholders while serving as the voice of the customer.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of Product Management or Product Development experience in capital equipment or industrial manufacturing.
  • Proven success launching new products and managing product portfolios.
  • Strong financial, strategic, and analytical skills with P&L experience.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Flexible packaging or bag/pouch industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel internationally.

Compensation range:

The approximate pay range for this position is $115,000-$139,000 annually. Please note that the pay range is a good faith estimate at the time of posting and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, and geographic location.
