Job description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Ensure all operations follow all legal and regulatory requirements, including air and water quality, permit conditions, dumpsite policies and MSHA, OSHA
  • Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed
  • Provide technical assistance to site superintendents and general manager
  • Assist superintendents with coordinating cost effective stripping, mining, crushing and reclamation plans
  • Ensure that quality of all materials exceeds customer expectations
  • Coordinate with internal customers and external salespeople to determine production and schedules
  • Provide superintendents with operating efficiency reports that measure key performance indicators
  • Create monthly financial summaries to review with location teams
  • Will coordinate and plan permit requirements, mine planning, aggregate production scheduling, work daily with division GM
  • Other Duties assigned as needed

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Safety first attitude required
  • Previous supervisory experience required
  • Working knowledge of crushing, washing aggregates
  • Working knowledge of mine planning, stripping and extraction
  • Computer Skills and working knowledge of Microsoft excel
  • Requires high degree of skills in planning, organization, supervising communication and observation
  • A valid driver's license in good standing
  • Ability to pass a criminal background, drug screen and functional testing
