Work Environment

Located in Belleville, NJ, our rehabilitation center is equipped with modern amenities, creating a welcoming atmosphere for both patients and staff. Our facility boasts a collaborative environment where healthcare professionals are committed to creating positive patient interactions and results. The full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, from 2 PM to 8 PM, allowing for structured work hours where you're supported by a cohesive team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, collaborating with physicians and care teams to devise individualized treatment plans that focus on achieving therapeutic goals.
  • Implement and oversee the physical therapy process, ensuring interventions are within legal and ethical guidelines while assessing progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary.
  • Deliver skilled therapeutic care directly to patients, which may include hands-on techniques, modalities, and individual exercises tailored to patient needs.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and interventions to be used at home, enhancing their understanding and engagement in the recovery process.
  • Prioritize patient caseloads effectively based on need, and coordinate staffing assignments to ensure adequate coverage and care continuity.
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements, tracking patient progress and outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Kinetic Care Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including both adult and pediatric patients. This role involves implementing therapeutic strategies for individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise in physical therapy will help guide patients through their recovery journeys, ensuring they regain maximum function and quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT preferred).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, or the willingness to obtain it within 30 days of employment.
Preferred Experience
