OIC serves a sophisticated client base including leading wealth managers, large public pension funds, and institutional leveraged finance investors.As Director โ€“ Credit Research, you will be a senior investment professional conducting rigorous bottom-up credit analysis on high-yield bonds and leveraged loans, with a primary focus on the financial services and technology sectors.**What you will do:**- Lead fundamental credit research and due diligence on performing high-yield corporate issuers across the capital structure- Build and maintain detailed cash flow models to value debt investments; generate investment recommendations with clear risk/return analysis- Evaluate the creditworthiness of corporate issuers by analyzing financial statements, industry dynamics, competitive positioning, and management quality- Monitor existing portfolio positions and proactively flag emerging credit risks or upgrade opportunities- Collaborate with portfolio managers, research colleagues, and traders across multiple offices- Maintain active dialogue with sell-side, buy-side, advisors, and legal counsel to stay current on market technicals and credit events- Present investment ideas and research findings internally and externally to clients**What you bring:**- 7+ years of high-yield or leveraged credit research experience at a buy-side or sell-side firm- Deep expertise in fundamental credit analysis, financial modeling, and capital structure assessment- Strong knowledge of financial services and/or technology industry credit dynamics preferred- CFA charterholder or in progress preferred- Excellent written and verbal communication skillsObra Capital is headquartered in Montpelier, Vermont, with a national institutional client base.Apply for this Position #J-18808-Ljbffr
