Job description

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is in growth mode and currently seeking Forklift Operators to join our team!

This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing business! We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to work at our Tonawanda processing plant.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • 3+ years of forklift experience required 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to safety and detail
  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently
  • Must maintain a drug free lifestyle (BBD complies with the Federal Drug-Free Workplace Act)

Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers
  • Assist laborers with general maintenance tasks including but not limited to scraping/cleaning equipment, emptying vats, and hand scraping dumpsters
  • Move supplies throughout facility
  • Assist with organizing materials, general warehouse duties, and maintaining a clean work environment
  • Ensure shop safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Shift:

  • 1st shift: Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm - Starting $28/hr
