The Senior ERP Analyst, located in Middlefield (CT), will take ownership of our ERP systems and serve as a key partner to business and corporate teams. This is a highly customer-facing role where you will bridge business and IT-ensuring ERP capabilities align with operational needs while driving efficiency, standardization, and innovation. You will play a central role in ERP consolidation efforts, modernization initiatives, and preparing the organization for a future SAP S/4HANA migration
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with Business - act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and corporate stakeholders on all ERP-related initiatives
- Build strong cross-functional relationships across finance, operations, supply chain, and manufacturing
- Translate business requirements into scalable system solutions
- Drive process alignment, standardization, and adoption of best practices
Own & Support the ERP Platform - manage the ERP landscape (Navision 2017, transitioning to Business Central; Sightline, Visual, Sage)
- Provide hands-on system support, troubleshooting issues and ensuring high system availability
- Configure and enhance ERP functionality, including development in C/AL (Navision 2017)
- Support integrations and evolution toward AL in Business Central
Drive Projects & Enhancements - lead ERP initiatives including enhancements, upgrades, and break/fix improvements
- Manage and prioritize the ERP support queue and feature requests
- Drive execution of system upgrades (Navision Business Central)
- Provide clear communication and reporting on priorities, status, and outcomes
Lead ERP Transformation - play a key role in consolidating multiple ERP systems into a single Business Unit platform
- Support data mapping, process alignment, and change management efforts
- Contribute to long-term planning for SAP S/4HANA migration
Improve & Innovate - identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and AI adoption to drive continuous improvement across workflows, reporting, and system usage
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of ERP experience with strong functional and technical understanding
- Experience with Navision (C/AL) required; Business Central (AL) and SAP exposure preferred
- Proven success in a customer-facing role partnering with business stakeholders
- Experience leading ERP enhancements, upgrades, or consolidation efforts
- Strong understanding of business processes (finance, supply chain, manufacturing, operations)
- Ability to balance support, development, and project delivery
