At Zurich Cover-More, we're proud to be one of the world's leading travel insurance and assistance providers. Each year, we protect more than 20 million travellers worldwide, making sure we're there every step of their journey with proactive care, personalised cover and specialist support. Zurich Cover-More partners with many of the world's best-known brands - think major airlines, travel giants, top banks, credit card providers, and large retailers - to deliver more care, more cover, for all.

Launched in December 2024, Zurich Cover-More is the global travel brand of Zurich Insurance Group, one of the world's leading multi-line insurers. Our family of customer-facing brands includes trusted names like Travel Guard, Cover-More Travel Insurance, Travelex Insurance, Universal Assistance, World Travel Protection, Freely, and Blue Insurance. Together, we're redefining what it means to travel safely and with confidence. Whether it's a long-awaited holiday, a last-minute business trip, or an unexpected detour, we deliver in the moments that matter.

What you'll be doing:

This is a highly visible role within Zurich Cover-More's global Business Transformation function, focused on shaping strategic growth decisions across existing and potential new markets. You'll partner closely with executive leaders to assess market opportunities, build business cases, develop actionable roadmaps, and turn complex data and insights into clear recommendations that support decision-making. The role will suit someone who enjoys working in ambiguity, going deep into market and business analysis, and influencing senior stakeholders across a global organization. You will:

  • Partner with ZCM executive leadership, Zurich business unit and Group leaders, and external subject matter experts to identify and prioritize key markets for strategic review, using business performance data, market trends, and growth opportunities to guide where analysis is needed most.
  • Lead deep-dive market assessments across existing and potential new markets, including opportunity sizing, competitive landscape, regulatory environment, demand drivers, and other market-specific factors.
  • Define the capabilities, investments, subject matter expertise, and capacity required to pursue identified opportunities, including what exists today and what may need to be built.
  • Develop financial and operational business models, clear business cases, strategic recommendations, and practical execution roadmaps to support decision-making and guide the path forward.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders, structuring complex information into clear, executive-ready proposals and discussion materials.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner during evaluation and execution, and in some cases help lead delivery of defined market strategies and roadmaps.
  • Track performance over time to measure the impact of recommendations, while leading the adoption of AI and emerging tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of research, analysis, and strategic documentation.
What skills and experience you'll bring on this journey:
  • Minimum 10-12+ years of experience in strategy, corporate development, management consulting, business operations, or a related field, ideally within insurance, financial services, travel, or another complex global industry.
  • Strong ability to quickly understand new markets, including competitive dynamics, regulatory considerations, customer needs, demand drivers, and broader industry trends.
  • Proven experience using research, data, and structured analysis to develop business cases, strategic recommendations, and growth opportunities.
  • Exceptional written communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to turn complex information into concise, executive-ready presentations and proposals.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Experience building credibility with senior leaders and influencing decisions through insight, analysis, and trusted partnerships.
  • Comfortable working across global teams, functions, and markets, bringing a collaborative approach and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Curious, innovative, and enthusiastic about leveraging AI and emerging technologies to improve the quality and efficiency of research, analysis, and strategic decision-making.
