Job Title: AV Field Service Engineer
Location: Sacramento CA or Pennsylvania (2 locations)
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced AV Field Service Engineer to join our team. This role requires a strong background in audiovisual (AV) system troubleshooting, repair, and commissioning. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing complex AV issues in the field, ensuring systems are installed, configured, and performing at peak efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform on-site troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of AV systems, including audio, video, control, and conferencing systems.
Commission AV systems, ensuring functionality, calibration, and proper integration with client environments.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and installation teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Provide system testing, verification, and client handoff documentation.
Support clients with training, guidance, and technical assistance on AV system operation.
Maintain accurate service reports, logs, and documentation of work performed.
Stay current with AV technology trends, equipment, and best practices.

Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in AV field service, system integration, or commissioning.
Strong troubleshooting skills with AV components such as displays, projectors, DSPs, switchers, control systems, microphones, cameras, and networked AV solutions.
Hands-on experience with commissioning AV systems, including calibration and system testing.
Ability to read and interpret AV system drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Strong communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites.
CTS certification is not required, though AVIXA training or other vendor certifications are a plus.
