JOB SUMMARY
The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of raw materials to production lines, efficient collection of waste, and overall support to packing operations. This role ensures there is a clean, organized, and safe environment. The Material Handler works closely with the Team Lead and is expected to proactively identify issues, resolve inefficiencies, and recommend performance improvements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • 1 25% Ability to work with the line supervisor and other management to identify and pull the correct raw product.
    2 20% Ensure timely delivery of raw materials to production lines
    3 15% Manage collection and proper disposal of waste from lines
    4 10% Support production and packing associate with materials and supplies
    5 10% Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouses and staging areas
    6 10% Monitor inventory of packing materials and communicate shortages
    7 5% Enforce safety and cleanliness standards within the warehouse
    8 5% Collaborate with Team Lead on process improvements and labor allocation
    QUALIFICATIONS
    Education
    Prefer High School or GED but not required.

Experience
1-2 years in warehouse or inventory control, including leadership or lead-hand experience (required). Experience in food or perishable good handling, inventory systems, or warehouse equipment (preferred)
Skills
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
    Good communication and time management
    Understanding of warehouse operations and production support
    Inventory tracking and material handling skills
    Ability to troubleshoot material flow and supply issues
