Professional Services Group is now hiring for the position of Supervisor to lead the In-Home Safety Services (IHSS) and Youth Support Services (YSS) teams!

JOB SUMMARY:

The In-Home Safety Services program works with families referred to our services by the Winnebago County Human Services Department to maintain safety in homes where children are at-risk for removal or are in the process of reunification. Staff within these programs emphasize helping families develop systems of support and resources to promote safety and stability, and enhance the parent-child relationship.

The Youth Support Services program is a multi-faceted initiative that serves at-risk youth and their families. Youth Support Specialists work closely with the Winnebago County Youth Justice Social Workers to assess the various needs of clients, including: mental health concerns, emotional regulation, social skills, education, and truancy prevention.

As the Supervisor, it will be your responsibility to direct and monitor all aspects of the IHSS and YSS programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SUPERVISOR:

  • Hire, train, and manage program staff.
  • Carry out objectives set by management.
  • Monitor and be accountable for program budgets.
  • Set and monitor employee caseloads.
  • Maintain a light caseload as an IHSS and YSS Worker.
  • Prepare required reports and all other program documentation accurately and on time.
  • Review staff case notes, safety assessments, and safety plans.
  • Ensure quality assurance through file reviews.
  • Conduct weekly staffing.
  • Act as a resource for workers in emergency and crisis situations.
  • Safely transport clients as needed.

LOCATION: Oshkosh, WI. Some local travel may be required to meet with clients and staff at client homes or other community spaces, with mileage reimbursement. Some flexibility for hybrid work scheduling, dependent on programming needs.

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, with occasional evening and/or weekend hours required to support staff working evening/weekend shifts.

SALARY: $58,000-60,000 annually

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess a valid Driver's License, personal automobile insurance, and reliable transportation on a daily basis.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related is required.
  • Must have a minimum of two years' experience working with at-risk youth and families.
  • Prior supervisory/management experience is preferred.
