Youth Pastor - Plymouth Alliance Church - Plymouth, WI

We are looking to bring on our team an individual who has a love for the Lord, a desire to grow
in their walk with Jesus and a heart to serve the youth in our community. This person would be responsible for the regular calendar of youth events, teaching and missions opportunities.

Youth Pastor - Plymouth Alliance Church - Job Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A deep love for God and people.
    • A desire to be a part of team a for the advancement of the Gospel.
    • A heart to serve and learn.
    • An excitement to impact lives for Jesus.
    • Bachelors Degree in Youth or Pastoral Ministry and Accredited with the Christian and Missionary Alliance. (If not accredited, willing to go through the accreditation process)

Ministry Involvement: The Associate Pastor will take leadership over the following ministries:

    • Anchored Youth Program
    • Community Outreach & Connections
    • Pastoral Duties such as periodic preaching, visitation and Sunday service involvement
    • Worship Ministry (if so gifted)

Job Duties For Anchored Youth:

    • Oversee the development and implementation of the vision, strategy and tactical elements for programs, activities and educational aspects related to an overall youth ministry at Plymouth Alliance Church including 6th through 12th grade.
    • Encourage our youth to live for Christ on a daily basis.
    • Plan and prepare weekly teaching times.
    • Plan and implement events, activities.
    • Implement a Contact Ministry, connecting with the youth and their families outside of the normal church activities.
    • Prepare annual calendar of events.
    • Encourage and facilitate participation in regional and national youth events. (ie. district camps & retreats and LIFE Conference.)
    • Volunteer recruitment, training and discipleship.
    • Organize opportunities for the youth to serve at PAC and in the community.
    • Organize opportunities for the youth to experience short-terms missions.

Community Outreach & Connections:

    • Along with the Lead Pastor help provide visionary, strategic and innovative leadership for reaching the unchurched in our community for Jesus Christ.
    • Work with the Lead Pastor and staff to determine potential outreach events.
    • Help PAC establish strong connection with the community for the Gospel.
    • Inspire people to become outreach focused and increase involvement in outreach initiatives.

Pastoral Duties:

    • Be available to preach 4-6 times throughout the year.
    • Be available for visitation as needed.

Administrative Responsibilities:

    • Meet weekly with the Pastor for prayer and discussion.
    • Attend Weekly Staff Meeting.
    • Attend Monthly Board Meetings .
    • Attend Annual District Conference.
    • Attend Bi-Annual C&MA General Council.
