Title of Role: Shipping Lead

East West Tea is seeking a talented, passionate, and experienced Shipping Lead to join our Warehouse Team!

The Shipping Lead is responsible for coordinating day-to-day shipping operations, from the production line to carrier pickup, while upholding the highest standards of safety and quality at every step. Leading by example, ensuring all team members adhere to safe work practices, and quality protocols without exception.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN:

Leadership

• Elevate safety and equipment issues to leadership
• Train and inspire team to work in the most safe and efficient manner
• Collaborates with leadership and shipping team on continuous improvement within the warehouse
• Holds individuals accountable to output and timelines

Administrative

• Processing order launch and fulfillment in WMS and ERP
• Generate BOLs, packing lists, and ASNs
• Manage EDI transactions and resolve errors

Cross-Functional

• Complete order administration to ensure accurate and on-time delivery
• Coordinate with the Transportation Planner and Inventory Coordinator on shipment and transfer timing
• Partner with the Inventory Coordinator on cycle counts, discrepancies, and WMS updates

WHAT YOU KNOW AND HAVE EXPERIENCED:

• 1-3 years of administrative warehouse and/or logistical experience
• Team/Shift lead experience preferred
• Ability to obtain a forklift certification, previous forklift experience preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, ERP/WMS systems and mobile scanners
