Qualifications
What We're Looking For
-EPA 608 Certification (required)
-At least 1 year of HVAC experience
-Knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and boiler systems
-Ability to diagnose and solve mechanical issues independently
-Valid U.S. driver's license with an acceptable driving record
-Excellent communication and customer service skills
-Commitment to safety, teamwork, and YMCA values
Essential Functions
As an HVAC Technician, you'll play a vital role in keeping our facilities operating safely and efficiently by:
-Troubleshooting, repairing, and installing HVAC, heating, cooling, refrigeration, and boiler systems
-Performing preventive maintenance and emergency repairs
-Reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
-Maintaining accurate service records and maintenance logs
-Ensuring compliance with EPA and safety standards
-Assisting with general maintenance projects as needed
-Providing exceptional service to guests and fellow team members
