For more than 65 years, A&K Railroad Materials has been a trusted leader in supplying new and used railroad track materials across North America. We're looking for a working Rail Yard Operations Foreman to help lead our yard operations while working alongside the team to keep materials moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule.


This is more than a supervisory position. You'll operate heavy equipment, support equipment maintenance, perform fabrication and welding, organize inventory, and help maintain a safe, productive rail yard. If you enjoy staying busy, troubleshooting challenges, and taking pride in seeing a job through, you'll fit right in.

Requirements:What You'll Bring
  • Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, loaders, backhoes, or skid steers
  • Mechanical aptitude with equipment troubleshooting and basic repairs
  • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
  • Experience in rail, construction, manufacturing, heavy industrial, or similar environments
  • Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding work
