Job description

Principal Accountabilities:
Sub Job Family Description: Drive a small to medium truck or van that is typically less than five tons to make regular deliveries and pickups. Vehicle may include a trailer. Requires a driver's license appropriate to the vehicle being driven. Plan own routing for most effective utilization within schedule constraints. Ensure delivery or pick-up documentation is complete. Do routine servicing and may perform minor truck maintenance such as fueling, checking lights, oil levels, tires, brakes etc. May record information such as distance traveled, fuel consumption, etc. Typically requires a Class A CDL.___Under close supervision:* Drive a vehicle with a capacity less than 26,000 GVW* Main activities include the pick up or delivery goods, packages or equipment* May be required to load or unload contents of the vehicle
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent education; Associate's degree preferred* Minimum of one year of experience preferred
Knowledge & Application:
* Applies knowledge of a body of standardized rules, procedures, operations, etc within a specialized or technical field* May include multistep processes which requires a fairly detailed knowledge of the specialized area* Requires extensive on-the-job or previous training and experience* May require formal occupational training or certification* Operative/Technician roles will typically operate more complex machinery/processes

* Problems are known, defined, and readily apparent* Issues may occasionally require some fact finding to solve* Non-routine issues typically escalated to more senior team member or supervisor* Selects best option from a set of defined procedures/solutions using common sense and experience of similar situations* Refers to procedures, technical aids, co-workers, and supervisors

Hiring Range:
$20.46 USD - $25.57 USD per hour
Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
