What you’ll need to succeed as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at XPO

Minimum qualifications:

  • 1 year of related work experience
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, HRIS or other data entry systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)  

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in recruiting, recruiting coordination or related area 
  • Experience SuccessFactors
  • Customer service experience
  • Knowledge of employment laws 
  • Bilingual English/Spanish or English/French
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills

  • Create requisitions and post positions to appropriate sources
  • Prepare and send pre-boarding documents to prospective candidates 
  • Initiate and monitor background and onboarding steps 
  • Review and evaluate applicants to ensure they meet the position requirements 
  • Audit pre-employment onboarding documentation to ensure compliance 
  • Answer questions and provide coaching to HR, hiring managers and potential applicants
