Job Description
The Manicurist is responsible for delivering exceptional nail care services and personalized guest experiences consistent with Wynn Resorts and Forbes Five-Star service standards. This position provides professional manicure, pedicure, nail enhancement, and hand and foot treatment services while maintaining the highest levels of sanitation, technical expertise, and guest satisfaction. The Manicurist serves as a trusted beauty professional who creates memorable luxury experiences and contributes to the overall success of The Salon at Wynn Las Vegas. The position operates within a luxury spa and salon environment where knowledge of salon services, guest care, and service excellence is essential.
Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Provide professional manicure, pedicure, and nail care services in accordance with department standards and Nevada state regulations.
  • Perform nail maintenance services, hand and foot treatments, polish applications, nail enhancements, and specialty nail services as approved by the Salon.
  • Deliver Forbes Five-Star service standards in all guest and employee interactions.
  • Create personalized experiences by anticipating guest preferences and recommending appropriate services and products.
  • Conduct guest consultations to understand needs, preferences, and any contraindications before providing services.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all salon services and actively recommend treatments that enhance the guest experience. The Spa and Salon team is expected to maintain knowledge of salon services offered and suggest services while following Forbes standards.
  • Promote retail products and home care recommendations that support guests' beauty and wellness goals.
  • Ensure treatment stations, tools, and equipment are properly sanitized, organized, and maintained according to company and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate appointment schedules and communicate effectively with reception, management, and fellow service providers.
  • Accurately document guest preferences, service histories, and relevant treatment information.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness, presentation, and organization throughout The Salon.
  • Protect guest confidentiality and maintain professional discretion at all times.
  • Support departmental goals through exceptional service, guest retention, and retail sales performance.
  • Attend required meetings, training sessions, product education programs, and continuing education opportunities. The Spa department requires ongoing education and industry training to maintain service excellence.
  • Comply with all Wynn Resorts policies, procedures, grooming standards, and safety practices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current Nevada State Manicurist License required and must be maintained throughout employment.
  • Previous experience as a licensed Manicurist in a luxury salon, spa, resort, or hospitality environment preferred.
  • Experience working with a diverse clientele and providing customized nail care services preferred.
  • Knowledge of current nail industry trends, techniques, products, and sanitation standards.
  • Prior experience in a Forbes-rated or luxury hospitality environment preferred.

  • Ability to safely use professional nail care products, equipment, and tools.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
