Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:
 

  • Develop and organize a team taught, technology based, integrated media/business curriculum that meets state and district standards.
  • Effectively use computer, technology, and Web 2.0 skills, consistent with the school's operating standards, to develop students' 21st Century skills.
  • Use data to drive instruction from formative, summative, and authentic assessments, including the use of rubrics, to evaluate student progress and adapt individual programs to meet the needs of all students.
  • Work cooperatively with other personnel to improve instructional programs and the overall operation of the school.
  • Communicate with students, parents, and other staff concerning student academic progress, attendance, and behavior.
  • Attend and participate in required in-service activities and assist in planning and conducting such activities.
  • Perform other adjunct duties as assigned consistent with current employer/employee agreement.

 
Minimum Requirement
 

  • Possession of a PE/Health teaching credential.
  • Must be WSI Certified
  • Able to demonstrate effective teaching and computer skills.
