Job description

Salary: 22.50 and mileage reimbursement

Overview

HireQuest Direct is seeking WSDOT/State of WA Certified Traffic Control Flaggers to join
our on-call roster supporting projects across Olympia, Elma, Chehalis, and Port Angeles.
This is great for certified flaggers looking for flexible, part-time work with consistent
opportunities based on project demand.


Responsibilities
Provide safe and professional traffic control in active work zones
Follow approved traffic control plans and supervisor direction
Communicate clearly with crews and the public to maintain safety
Set up/assist with traffic control devices as directed
Maintain focus and awareness in changing outdoor conditions


Requirements
Current WSDOT / State of Washington Flagger Certification (required)
Must be 18+
Valid drivers license (required)
Reliable vehicle / transportation to job sites (required)
Full PPE required (some PPE may be available in limited quantities)
Able to stand for long periods and work outdoors in varied conditions
Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded


Pay & Mileage
$22.50/hr
Mileage is added for distances over 50 miles roundtrip (per policy)
