Your Role as an Ave Maria Press Intern: As a dedicated and curious intern, you'll have the opportunity to dive into a variety of tasks, including: Participating in various aspects of creation of student and teacher Catholic high school theology materials, including research, fact checking, writing, editing, or securing permissions. Conducting outreach to school, diocesan, and national leadership for communications, promotion, and research. Organizing and tracking material on a production calendar.

Learning the process of editorial and overall curriculum production, including by attending curriculum team meetings. Working hand‐in‐hand with marketing to help craft promotion pieces for curriculum. Completing special projects catered to your talents and interests Note: This internship is unpaid, requires 7-12 hours per week, and can be conducted remotely if you are not near the South Bend, IN area.

Term Length: Summer Semester Requirements: Undergraduate students majoring in English, Journalism, Education, or Theology are encouraged to apply. Computer experience and familiarity with the internet are required. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software and interest in book publishing as a career is a plus.
