Description
The Student Writing Assistant in the Writing Resource Center assists fellow student writers with writing and writing strategies.
Examples of Duties

- Be prepared to work with any style, format, or discipline of writing
- Work consists of one-on-one writing meetings in the WRC, but may also include facilitating writing workshops, offering classroom support, managing social media accounts, and/or working on other projects that benefit the growth of the WRC
- Filling out pre- and post-meeting paperwork, attending mandatory training, maintaining coffee and snack area, and opening and/or closing the WRC
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a registered NCF student in good academic standing
- Must have satisfactorily passed the course Pedagogy in Practice/Writing Center Theory and Practice
