Job Title: Accounting Clerk (entry level)

Location: Opa-Locka FL

Employment Type: Full-Time On site

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone with at least 2 years of accounting experience who is looking to grow within a fast-paced and professional environment. The ideal candidate will assist with daily accounting operations, data entry, reconciliations, and administrative financial tasks.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

Enter and maintain accurate financial records and data

Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and vendor accounts

Assist with invoice processing and payment tracking

Maintain filing systems for accounting and financial documents

Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting

Communicate with vendors and customers regarding account inquiries

Ensure compliance with company procedures and accounting standards

Provide general administrative support to the accounting department

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience required

This is an entry-level accounting position

Fluent English communication skills required (written and verbal)

Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures

Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office 365

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

Professional communication and problem-solving skills

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
