  • Proficient in creating SQL queries to troubleshoot, develop metrics, and create ad-hoc reporting

A Brief Overview
The IT Mid-Level Analyst uses a range of functional and technical skills to support the build-out and integration of custom WWT applications and third-party vendor systems and products. This position plays a significant role in contributing to the development of functional/technical solutions by supporting innovation within our organization. The employee will have a solid understanding of Lead-to-Quote business processes, systems, and architecture within their team. Collaboration with leadership, architecture, product ownership, and various IT and business teams is essential.
Job Responsibilities
  • Applying and starting to lead and promote WWT Core Values and best practices.
  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document functional requirements. Ensure a clear understanding of business needs and objectives.
  • Functional Design: Contribute to the development of functional designs that meet business requirements. Create design specifications that outline how systems will address specific needs.
  • Solution Development: Assist in the development and implementation of functional solutions based on design specifications. Ensure solutions align with both business objectives and technical constraints.
  • Analysis and Validation: Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement or enhancement. Validate that functional designs meet the intended requirements and business goals.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of functional designs, including design specifications, workflows, and user requirements. Ensure that documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing including functional, regression, and guiding user acceptance testing to ensure reliability and performance. Support the identification and resolution of issues or defects during testing.
  • Mentorship and Collaboration: Work closely with other analysts, developers, team members, leadership, and business to ensure effective implementation. Provide guidance and support to associate analysts, helping them to develop their skills and navigate technical challenges. Share knowledge and best practices with team members to improve overall team competency.
  • Support and Troubleshooting: Offer ongoing support and consultation to address functional/technical issues and ensure solutions meet end-user needs. Provide guidance and direction on production issues. Start to monitor and look into support trends that can be addressed more proactively.
  • Agile Methodology: Actively engage in Agile development practices including sprint planning, story creation, daily standups, testing, demos and retrospectives. Adapt to evolving requirements and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's processes and delivery.
  • Learning and Development: Continuously learn and understand WWT's business and technical processes to effectively contribute to and support the evolution of our technology solutions.
