Job description

Company Overview

Founded in 2011, World is one of the fastest-growing, Top 25 insurance brokers in the U.S. with nearly 3,000 employees in more than 300 offices across North America and the U.K. World specializes in personal and commercial insurance, surety and fidelity bonding, employee and executive benefits, investment advisory and retirement plan services, and payroll & HR solutions. 
Position Summary  
  • With some guidance and/or direction, leads client service primarily on small clients, most of which are fully insured.  
  • Follows a well-established and familiar set of activities and/or process supports clients with day-to-day servicing, quoting, renewal and carrier implementation. May deliver renewal messaging to some clients.  
  • Supports between $400K to $600K in EB revenue.  

Primary Responsibilities 
  • Participate in renewal discussions 
  • Gather data and pull renewals, plan variations and quotes 
  • Communicates simple renewal options to clients.  
  • Complete carrier installation, including all required paperwork 
  • Model and communicate contribution strategies and recommendations  
  • Coordinate and facilitate open enrollment. 
 
Additional Duties  
  • Manage eligibility and resolve escalated claims/billing issues. 
  • Support and guide client through small group audit/certification 
  • Maintain and update BenefitPoint for all client and policy data files/documents 

Work Experience 
  • Proficient knowledge of fully insured ACA plans.  
  • Proficient in Word and Excel 
  • Proficient in BenefitPoint and Perfect Quote, Quoting tools and WIA EB Workflows. 
  • Proficient in facilitating SBU renewal, carrier implementations, and open enrollments meetings.  

Professional Licenses/Certifications 
  • Must hold state life and health insurance license 
 
Education  
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent work experience would be considered 

Physical Demands 
Office work involves working at a desk most of the time, using a stand-up/sit-down adjustable desk. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Typing, grasping, and repetitive motion typically is required every day, and walking and standing are required occasionally.
