Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for entertainment, hospitality, and creating unforgettable guest experiences? Join our team as a Cruise Director and take charge of delivering exceptional onboard entertainment while leading a high-performing, multicultural team.


Position Summary


As the Cruise Director, you will be fully responsible for delivering high-quality, personalized, and technically excellent entertainment experiences onboard, ensuring complete guest satisfaction while upholding company standards.


Oversee and manage all onboard entertainment operations.

Lead the production of evening shows, social events, deck parties, and enrichment programs such as lectures and religious services.

Ensure compliance with company policies, performance standards, and punctuality across the entertainment team.


Actively engage with guests to understand their preferences, resolve issues efficiently, and deliver a personalized experience.


Manage team performance through training, coaching, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

Maintain operational excellence by monitoring entertainment quality, equipment, budgets, inventory, and expenses, while ensuring compliance with work/rest hour regulations.

Serve as the face of entertainment onboard by hosting events, making announcements, and creating a vibrant guest atmosphere.


Qualifications & Experience


  • Minimum 10 years in a similar role within the cruise industry
  • Strong leadership experience in multicultural environments
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree preferred
  • Entertainment background is an advantage
  • Valid STCW certification
