WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Service Shop Foreman, you’ll oversee daily shop operations, support technicians, and ensure repairs meet Hunter Truck’s standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. You will:

➤ Greet customers professionally and review repair concerns
➤ Assign work to qualified technicians and balance workloads
➤ Monitor repair progress to ensure accuracy and quality
➤ Provide technical support and guidance to technicians
➤ Prepare repair estimates and communicate timelines
➤ Conduct road tests and quality checks on completed repairs
➤ Maintain shop tools, equipment, and supply levels
➤ Ensure compliance with warranty procedures and safety regulations
➤ Review technician performance, productivity, and training needs
➤ Support recruiting, onboarding, and development of technicians
➤ Maintain shop cleanliness, safety standards, and equipment condition
➤ Document repairs clearly and ensure proper warranty part handling
➤ Assist in resolving customer concerns within 24 hours
➤ Promote teamwork and uphold Hunter Truck’s safety culture

WHAT YOU BRING

◆ Education & Experience: Four years of related experience and/or training (or an equivalent combination).

◆ Certificates & Licenses: Valid Driver’s License required; must meet company insurability standards. State Vehicle Inspector Certification preferred. Commercial Driver’s License required or able to obtain within six months.

◆ Physical Requirements: Regularly stand, walk, kneel, crouch, use hands, talk, and hear. Frequently reach with hands and arms. Occasionally climb or balance. Regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs; frequently up to 100 lbs; occasionally more than 100 lbs. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
