The Opportunity:
This role will primarily be responsible for the full-cycle handling of AgeCare's Seniors Community laundry and linens. Work Schedules, task routines and general practices of laundry follow the established protocol of Albus as directed and provided.
What Is In It For You:
Participates in the cleaning of soiled laundry, washing, drying, folding and preparing for delivery
Assists in maintains equipment by following proper operating, cleaning and maintenance instructions
Utilizes procedures as trained in compliance with IP&C, WHMIS, and Workplace Health & Safety.
Attends mandatory training and departmental meetings
Demonstrates strong cooperation and team support
What You Will Need:
Physically capable to consistently lift items ups to 25 lbs and constant physical movement
High school diploma is preferred, WHIMIS training an asset.
Fluent in English, both orally and in writing.
Possess a positive attitude, with a focus on team work
Willing and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
