KPMG is currently seeking a Director in M&A Services, Working Capital for our KPMG Strategy practice.
Responsibilities :
  • As a key advisor to corporate clients, direct and deliver working capital services focused on order to cash, procure to pay and inventory or supply chain process and cash flow optimization
  • Work closely with the engagement Partner or Managing Director to lead and develop client relationships and oversee teams of consultants through opportunity assessment and program implementations
  • Help lead business development efforts focused on working capital and cash flow improvement through targeted initiatives within process cycles (AR, Inventory, AP), including writing proposals, participating in pitch meetings, and negotiating scope and terms
  • Lead the team to create value-add insights that tie to the client's strategic and financial ambitions, including identifying the underlying value proposition for optimization programs through structured data analyses and implementation efforts to identify operational risks, efficiencies, or other opportunities
  • Work across B2B and B2C industries, including but not limited to industrials, services, healthcare, life sciences, consumer goods, retail, energy, technology and telecom
  • Participate in contribution to the development of the offering, product development, collateral development and bringing experience to our existing offering as well as the professional development of KPMG Strategy team members and assist with the recruiting and training of new staff

Qualifications :
  • Minimum of eight years of external consulting experience in a client-facing strategy discipline at a Big 4 firm, major strategy firm, or a boutique strategy firm, with a focus on working capital, order to cash, procure to pay, or supply chain or inventory cash flow or operational performance improvement; additional relevant work experience, ideally with M&A operations work experience for a private equity firm, strategy and/or relevant function of a Fortune 100 firm
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, or other related field; Master's degree in Business Administration from an accredited college or university is preferred
  • Experience helping global corporations or private equity firms conduct thorough analysis, including assessing process performance, organization, policies, systems, tools and metrics; plus project or program management, strategic cash flow and cost optimization, operational improvement, customer profitability, customer and vendor terms optimization, inventory optimization, organizational restructuring, and change management
  • Strong business acumen, with analytical and problem solving skills and ability to understand how business model decisions impact operating model design and execution across operations, technology, risk governance and organizational design
  • Comfort with ambiguity and fluid consulting situations
  • Ability to travel at a significant level, as needed
