Job description

MCI is North America's public and private market motor coach leader. Products include the luxury J-Series (an industry best-seller for over a decade), the workhorse D-Series, and the brand new zero-emission luxury and commuter coaches: the battery-electric J4500 CHARGE and MCI D45 CRT LE CHARGE. MCI also provides maintenance, repair, 24-hour roadside assistance, parts, and technician training through the industry's only Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) accredited MCI Academy. POSITION GOAL:

  1. Responsible for custodial duties including washing, sweeping, scrubbing, and detailing buses; servicing bus restrooms; cleaning vehicle upholstery; maintaining shop area and exterior lot; and moving parts within the shop (excluding coach movement).

    Physical Activity/Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 75 pounds with assistance.
  • Perform repetitive tasks involving bending, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Physical capability to climb ladders, work on elevated surfaces, and access confined spaces.
  • Performs precise, coordinated tool and equipment operations, adhering to established safety procedures and protocols. 
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work on concrete for extended periods (8+ hours).
  • Visual and hearing acuity to read diagnostic information and detect vehicle sounds.
  • Work in environments with noise, vibrations, dust, fumes, and temperature changes.
  • Comfortable wearing PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots for long durations.
