Description

We're raising the standard for what a medium-duty truck should be - delivering vehicles, infrastructure, and support designed to work for you.

This person is responsible for the scheduling and tracking of the necessary materials for production. They will work with internal departments to meet deadlines as well as external sources to ensure on-time delivery.

What You Will Do

  • Determining the required materials and generating schedules.
  • Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production.
  • Coordinating with other departments regarding production goals, timeliness, etc.
  • Tracking production volume and monitoring demand patterns and purchasing trends.
  • Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products.
  • Raising inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.
  • Responsible for seeking ways to improve efficiency and quality within your own role, while actively supporting broader company-wide improvement projects that involve your function.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Degree in business, logistics, inventory management, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or a related position.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and material management systems.
  • Be willing to travel up to 10%, domestic only.
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
  • This position requires the use of a use of a Workhorse or customer-owned vehicle. As such, any offer of employment will be contingent upon having a clean driving record, which will be evaluated and determined in Workhorse's sole discretion, no more than 4 active points for moving violations (issued by any motor vehicle agency), and no references to operating a vehicle under the influence of controlled substances within the last 10 years.
