Position Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Manager, Recruitment & Performance Optimization to lead the national recruitment, evaluation, and performance oversight of Security Managers across all client accounts. This role is critical to ensuring that we attract, select, and retain high-performing site leadership while proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen operational effectiveness.

This position extends beyond traditional recruiting and focuses heavily on candidate quality, leadership potential, field performance, and workforce optimization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying top-tier talent, assessing long-term growth potential, monitoring operational execution, and ensuring Managers are performing in accordance with company standards and prior training.

The Manager of Recruitment & Performance will also play a key role in identifying underperformance, recommending corrective action, and initiating replacement strategies when necessary to protect client satisfaction and operational excellence. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to leadership by aligning recruitment strategy with performance standards, talent quality, organizational growth and performance trends.

Key Responsibilities:

National Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for Security Manager positions nationwide across all client portfolios.
  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies to attract high-level candidates from security, military, law enforcement, and operations leadership sectors.
  • Build and maintain strategic talent pipelines for current openings, succession planning, and rapid replacement needs.
  • Optimize hiring strategies through workforce forecasting, market analysis, and operational demand planning.

Leadership Evaluation & Performance Oversight:

  • Evaluate Security Managers beyond placement, assessing leadership effectiveness, operational execution, adherence to company standards, and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct routine visits and performance reviews to identify strengths, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Talent Development & Performance Improvement:

  • Assess growth potential and promotability of Security Managers while identifying developmental opportunities.
  • Partner with operational leadership to reinforce accountability, coaching, and corrective action plans when performance issues arise.
  • Support retention of high-potential leaders through strategic performance alignment and development recommendations.

Replacement Strategy & Workforce Optimization:

  • Determine when performance deficiencies require talent replacement versus continued development.
  • Initiate and lead replacement searches when Security Managers fail to meet performance standards despite corrective efforts.
  • Protect client relationships by ensuring underperforming leadership is addressed quickly and strategically.
  • Strengthen bench depth to minimize operational disruption during leadership transitions.

Operational Strategy & Process Improvement:

  • Identify patterns in hiring success, turnover, manager performance, and client challenges to improve talent strategy.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to improve recruitment processes, site leadership standards, and workforce scalability.
  • Leverage available internal and external technology platforms to provide key program insights and success metrics.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, leadership recruitment, workforce optimization, or operational performance management.
  • Willingness to travel nationally as needed.
  • Strong background in recruiting and evaluating multi-site managers, preferably within security, law enforcement, retail, staffing, or field operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess leadership effectiveness, growth potential, and operational execution.
  • Experience conducting field evaluations, site visits, or performance oversight strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to identify organizational inefficiencies and implement strategic talent solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Must be willing to participate in the company’s pre-employment screening process and continuously meet any applicable State, County, and Municipal requirements.

Pay & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $90,000-$100,000/yr
  • Health, Dental, and Vision coverage
  • 401(k)
  • Career advancement within a national organization
  • High-impact role influencing talent quality, operational excellence, and client satisfaction
  • Dynamic, growth-focused work environment
