Manufacturing Operations Supervisor – Direct Hire
2nd Shift  Monday–Friday 3:30pm–12:00am
$85,000–$105,000 Salary/Exempt

Our client is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Supervisor for a Direct Hire opportunity within a modern aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on machine shop leader who thrives in fast-paced production settings and wants to continue developing their career in advanced manufacturing technology.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day supervision of 2nd shift machining operations 
  • Lead Team Leads, Machinists, Operators, and Set-Up Technicians 
  • Ensure production, quality, safety, and delivery goals are achieved 
  • Troubleshoot production and equipment issues while improving processes 
  • Monitor ERP reporting, control charts, and production documentation 
  • Coach, mentor, and develop employees to build high-performing teams 
  • Maintain strong communication between production staff and management 
  • Support new product introduction and continuous improvement initiatives 
  • Operate within AS9100 and NADCAP quality standards 
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of machining/manufacturing experience preferred 
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience strongly preferred 
  • 7+ years of leadership experience with 15+ direct reports preferred 
  • CNC machining background required 
  • Trade school certification or equivalent hands-on experience 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills 
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required; ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus 
  • Associate degree preferred but not required 
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift 
  • Occasional lifting up to 35 lbs. 
  • Must meet vision requirements including depth perception and color recognition 
Compensation: $85,000–$105,000 based on experience and qualifications.
