Job Description

  • Benefit Payment Services assists retirees with questions regarding their pension payments. We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team of call center professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to take and implement feedback quickly, and a proven capacity to learn new processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and manage inbound calls from retirees and pensioners.
  • Understand caller requests, problem-solve as needed, and route per client profile.
  • Assist with questions about pension payments, tax forms, and withholdings.
  • Support retirees in navigating the web portal and processing reprints of tax forms.
  • Send forms via mail, fax, and email to participants.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, internet research, and email.
  • Clear verbal and written communication with professional telephone etiquette.
  • Strong organization and time management with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a high-volume environment.
  • Ability to take feedback and implement changes quickly.
  • Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when necessary.
