Job description

Role- WFS Functional Architect
Location-  Remote and mix Travel to Rochester , MN

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Design & Blueprinting: Lead Fit-to-Standard and Fit-Gap workshops. Translate complex labor rules, absence management, and scheduling policies into scalable system designs.
  • System Configuration: Configure core WFM platform capabilities, including shift patterns, rotations, overtime eligibility, exception handling, and time-entry clocking scenarios.
  • Cross-Module Integration: Ensure stable integration of workforce data with SAP HCM, SuccessFactors (Employee Central Time Off), Payroll, and downstream third-party systems.
  • Governance & RICEF Management: Review and approve functional specifications for custom RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) objects.
  • Testing & Deployment: Lead Solution Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Oversee cutover planning, data migration, and deployment readiness.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage business expectations, resolve complex system challenges, and mentor junior functional consultants.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Typically (12+) years of hands-on SAP or relevant WFM experience, with at least (2+) full-cycle implementation lifecycles.
  • Functional Knowledge: Deep understanding of labor compliance, union rules, absence tracking, time evaluation, and shift planning.
  • Technical Integration: Strong technical comprehension of HR/Finance integrations, including APIs, IDocs, and middleware concepts (e.g., SAP CPI).
  • Certifications: Certifications in SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking or relevant Workforce Software are highly desired.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, workshop facilitation, and capability to influence senior leadership.
