View Point Health is seeking a detail-oriented Director to lead the Paula Crane Life Enrichment Center. - This position is responsible for managing and providing strategic and operational leadership for a comprehensive, recovery-oriented program designed to support individuals impacted by substance use. The Director is responsible for ensuring the delivery of accessible, person-centered services that promote recovery, wellness, self-sufficiency, community connection, and long-term stability.
This position leads a team and oversees a continuum of supportive services, including recovery support, advocacy, prevention and education, vocational and educational programming, community resource coordination, and outreach. The Director serves as a strong advocate for individuals in recovery and builds meaningful partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, employers, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to expand opportunities and reduce barriers to recovery.
The director works closely with program leaders, clinical teams, direct care staff, vendors, and finance departments to ensure overall operational efficiency and the success of the Paula Crane Life Enrichment Center.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Operations
- Provide vision, leadership, and strategic direction for the Paula Crane Life Enrichment Center and its services.
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure services are accessible, person-centered, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented.
- Establish program goals, performance measures, and quality improvement initiatives to evaluate effectiveness and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, organizational policies, contractual requirements, and funding standards.
- Manage program budgets, resources, contracts, and operational priorities effectively.
- Oversee the development and successful operation of the food pantry as an essential component of holistic recovery support and community care.
Recovery Support & Holistic Services
- Promote a holistic approach to recovery that addresses emotional wellness, physical health, housing, employment, education, relationships, financial stability, and social connection.
- Develop and strengthen recovery-oriented programming that promotes independence, self-advocacy, resilience, and meaningful community participation.
- Support the integration of peer support and lived-experience perspectives into program development and service delivery.
Community Partnerships & Resource Coordination
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with behavioral health providers, healthcare organizations, social service agencies, housing providers, employers, educational institutions, faith-based organizations, and other community stakeholders.
- Create effective referral and care-coordination pathways to ensure individuals can access additional services and resources.
- Identify gaps in community services and develop partnerships or initiatives to address unmet needs.
- Represent the Paula Crane Life Enrichment Center at community meetings, coalitions, events, and professional forums.
Education, Prevention & Community Engagement
- Lead prevention, awareness, and educational initiatives that promote substance use prevention, recovery, wellness, and reduction of stigma.
- Develop community outreach strategies that increase awareness of available recovery resources and services.
- Serve as a visible community advocate for recovery and person-centered approaches to substance use services.
Education & Vocational Programming
- Oversee programs designed to support educational achievement, workforce development, career readiness, and employment opportunities.
- Build relationships with employers, vocational programs, educational institutions, and workforce-development organizations.
- Promote opportunities that help individuals in recovery achieve greater economic independence and long-term stability.
Staff Leadership & Development
- Recruit, supervise, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
- Foster a workplace culture grounded in respect, compassion, accountability, inclusion, recovery, and continuous learning.
- Provide staff with ongoing training related to substance use, recovery-oriented practices, trauma-informed care, harm reduction, motivational approaches, cultural responsiveness, and community resources.
- Establish clear expectations and performance standards while supporting employee engagement and professional growth.
Advocacy & Systems Leadership
- Advocate for policies, resources, and community practices that reduce barriers to recovery.
- Identify systemic barriers affecting individuals with substance use challenges and collaborate with partners to develop solutions.
- Participate in community coalitions and initiatives focused on substance use prevention, recovery, behavioral health, and social determinants of health.
- Use program data, community feedback, and emerging best practices to inform strategic planning and service development.
- Promote the voices and experiences of individuals affected by substance use in organizational and community decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have CPS-CARES.
- Bachelor's degree in behavioral health, social work, public health, psychology, human services, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in behavioral health, substance use services, recovery support, community-based services, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in program management and staff supervision.
- Experience developing and maintaining community partnerships.
- Strong understanding of recovery-oriented systems of care and person-centered service delivery.
- Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, public health, behavioral health, healthcare administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience leading a substance use recovery, peer support, prevention, or community behavioral health program.
- Experience with grants, contracts, program development, and budget management.
- Experience with workforce development, vocational services, or educational programming.
- Professional licensure or certification related to behavioral health or substance use services.
Requirements/Competencies:
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds,
- Requires long periods of sitting/standing,
- Must be 21 years of age,
- Candidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting).
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random drug screens.
- Must have valid Georgia driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy.
Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license.
