Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Materials Coordinator for our client. This job is responsible for ensuring the timely flow of materials throughout the manufacturing process to support production schedules. 
What’s a Typical Day Like?
  • Coordinate the movement of raw materials, components, and finished goods to support daily production requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and replenish materials to prevent production downtime.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production lines according to work orders and production schedules.
  • Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records using ERP and inventory management systems.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Process shipping and receiving documentation, including packing slips, bills of lading, and inventory transactions.
  • Work closely with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to resolve material shortages and inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized warehouse and production storage areas following 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Assist with inventory audits and continuous improvement initiatives to improve material flow and inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Support production by expediting critical materials and coordinating priorities to meet customer delivery schedules.
What Are the Requirements of the Job?
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in materials coordination, inventory control, warehouse, or manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience using ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Forklift and material handling equipment experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
  • Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
  • Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Communication skills.
