Title: Industrial Engineer
Location: Near Elkhorn, WI
Industry: Manufacturing / Data Center Infrastructure
Compensation: 90k-105k/yr. (based on experience)

We are partnering with a growing manufacturing organization near Elkhorn, Wisconsin that supports large-scale, high-impact data center infrastructure projects. This client is seeking an Industrial Engineer to drive process improvements, optimize production efficiency, and support operational scalability across their manufacturing environment.

This role offers strong visibility across engineering and operations teams and is ideal for someone who enjoys working on complex, technically demanding projects with measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase throughput, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other industrial engineering methodologies
  • Develop and maintain standard work instructions, process documentation, and workflow layouts
  • Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and production planning assessments
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams
  • Support new product introductions and production scaling tied to major data center programs
  • Identify cost-reduction opportunities and implement sustainable process improvements
  • Assist with facility layout planning, workflow optimization, and equipment utilization strategies
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and engineering analysis tools
  • Experience supporting high-volume or complex manufacturing environments is preferred
  • Exposure to large infrastructure, electrical, or data center related products is a plus
