Job description

The Senior Sales Executive in the Tax & Accounting Professionals (TAAP) MidMarket segment is a quotacarrying, territorybased role responsible for driving new revenue growth and expanding existing customer relationships within an assigned geography. This role operates in a highvolume, fastpaced sales environment, engaging primarily through phone, virtual meetings, and digital channels.

You will own the full sales cycle-from prospecting and discovery through close and expansion-while partnering closely with Sales Development Representatives, Account Specialists, Customer Success Managers, and Solutions Consultants to execute a disciplined, repeatable sales motion.

*Open to Remote if not located near an office

About the Role

  • Achieve monthly new business, expansion, and renewal targets across assigned territory

  • Execute highimpact product demonstrations across Thomson Reuters' Tax & Accounting workflow solutions

  • Prospect, qualify, and close opportunities using a transactional + consultative selling approach

  • Leverage sales technology and data insights (Salesforce, Flash, EMS, Gong, etc.) to manage pipeline, prioritize activity, and accelerate deal cycles

  • Maintain accurate territory, pipeline, and forecasting data within CRM systems

  • Identify and share market intelligence, competitive insights, and territory trends

  • Partner with crossfunctional teams to deliver valuebased solutions and resolve customer needs

  • Participate in sales meetings, enablement sessions, and team events as required

  • Serve as a mentor to other Sales Reps

About You

  • You are a disciplined, executionoriented seller who thrives in a quotadriven environment and enjoys owning results endtoend.

  • 5+ years of successful quotacarrying SaaS sales experience (Account Executive or equivalent)

  • Experience in or working with the Tax and Accounting industry, preferred

  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding targets in a midmarket or transactional sales environment

  • Strong phonebased and virtual selling skills, including discovery, objection handling, and closing

  • Proven ability to manage high deal volume while maintaining pipeline accuracy and forecasting rigor

  • High proficiency with CRM and sales enablement tools (Salesforce and Gong preferred)

  • Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills

  • High integrity, professionalism, and a continuouslearning mindset
