We are currently searching for a Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Consultant to join our growing Baker Tilly Digital Advisory Services consulting practice. As a part of Baker Tilly, you will find that our global brand and entrepreneurial environment will give you the support you need to apply your industry and technical experience to build your career across a wide range of services to meet our clients' important needs. You will contribute to some of the most important activities in our firm which include operating and growing the business, serving the client, developing people, and shaping our culture.

As a member of our team, you will support organizations who have selected Workday Adaptive Planning as their Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solution . The Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Consultant will be part of a team that implements, supports, and uses Workday Adaptive Planning to help clients improve their financial reporting, planning and forecasting processes. As part of this team, the position will work with a wide variety of projects and roles.

Role Summary
Delivers assigned implementation workstreams while developing expertise in Workday Adaptive Planning configuration, integrations, reporting, and client advisory. Serves as a trusted project team member and mentors associate consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Support Workday Adaptive Planning implementation projects from discovery through deployment by delivering assigned workstreams, maintaining high-quality deliverables, and meeting project timelines and client expectations

  • Facilitate working sessions with client teams to map out their business operations, define goals for their planning cycles, and identify key metrics that drive decision-making

  • Build, configure, and maintain financial forecasting and planning models in Workday Adaptive Planning, ensuring they meet client requirements and align with best practices

  • Support the implementation process from start to finish, including configuration, testing, and optimization of Workday Adaptive Planning

  • Configure, implement, and troubleshoot integrations using JavaScript, SQL, APIs, JDBC, and other integration platforms to incorporate data from a variety of ERP and source systems into Workday Adaptive Planning

  • Help clients streamline their financial processes by automating workflows and reports using system capabilities

  • Identify opportunities to reduce the time clients spend compiling data, allowing them to focus more on analysis and strategy

  • Provide training to client teams to ensure they can effectively use the tools and systems implemented

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; major in accounting, finance, business analytics, management information systems, fin-tech or information systems preferred

  • Experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), financial systems, or consulting preferred

  • Workday Adaptive Planning or financial systems experience preferred

  • Strong experience in JavaScript, SQL, and other integration platforms to incorporate data from a wide variety of ERP systems into Workday Adaptive Planning

  • Minimum of 3 years of corporate financial accounting experience required

  • Minimum of 1 year of corporate financial planning experience required

  • A solid understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting, with experience working in or with FP&A teams is preferred

  • Strong background in financial reporting, financial report systems, and data flows preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience working with data and using systems to create efficiencies and improve decision-making

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members

  • Able to articulate business value of systems enhancements or process change

  • Able to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Ability to travel as needed, approximately 20%
