Main concepts and theoretical approaches in the analysis of federalism. Normative foundations of federalism. The Canadian federal system in a comparative perspective. Central themes in the study of federalism (e.g. identity and diversity, relations with Indigenous peoples, regional inequalities, secession).

Nature of work:

Marking of papers and exams. The student must meet the deadlines set by the supervisor.

Requirements:

Priority will be given to candidates in accordance with articles 18.5 and 18.6 of the CUPE collective agreement.

Please note that the teaching method will be delivered in the following format (distance teaching). It is possible that the teaching or work method will change due to health measures or other reasons.

Students must be available to travel to the University of Ottawa campus in Ottawa at the request of their supervisor and/or the School.
