The Building People, LLC seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide on-call electrical engineering services for government facility projects. The Senior Electrical Engineer provides recommendations on electrical materials, systems, and equipment; performs analysis and design of prime power and low-voltage systems; and establishes design criteria and solutions for the study, design, and construction of normal and emergency electrical distribution systems, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), building generators, lighting systems (interior, exterior, and architectural), grounding, power monitoring, and control systems. Services also include code reviews, value engineering, life cycle cost analysis, quality control, and construction administration.
