    • Position Summary
    • Multiple temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant positions available in Financial Aid.
    • Start Date
    • Positions available on or after October 1, 2026 and ending on or before May 21, 2027. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
    • Job Description/Duties
    • Duties include but are not limited to:
      • Assist Turlock School District students (K-6 grade aged children) to improve reading skills through one-on-one or small group instruction, focusing on comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary development.
      • Other duties as assigned.
    • Qualifications
    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • Enrolled in an English, Liberal Studies, Child Development, or Communications program (preferred but not required), with an interest in teaching others to read, serving the community, and working with children.

      Required Qualifications:
      • A valid California Driver's License.
      • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
      • Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.
    • Salary Range
    • $16.90 per hour.
