As the Talent Acquisition Partner, you are a critical part of the talent acquisition team, supporting talent planning and strategy. You will work with a team of human resource professionals and people leaders across various locations to deliver key talent in support of the continued growth of Hayward! This role will be equal parts strategy and execution. You will have the opportunity to manage and deliver full-service recruitment support for a variety of professional roles. Through research, talent intelligence and your technical skills, you will learn about the market and proactively target talent of companies and industries for these assigned roles.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end recruitment plan for assigned positions to attract a strong and diverse pipeline of talent that aligns with the business goals. This includes a timeframe from the initial recruiting strategy session to Day 1.

  • Lead & execute internship and early career talent recruiting.

  • Your full cycle recruitment ownership process will include, but not limited to

    • Collaborating with the hiring manager and HRBP to determine what the right talent profile for a role, assist in creating the job description for that role.

    • Creating role-based interview guides, ensuring alignment with hiring manager on competencies to assess and interview stages and process.

    • Proactively source and manage candidates through the recruitment process and updating hiring managers and leadership on status.

    • Pre-screen and/or interview applicants to assess interests, job match and qualifications in comparison to the job requirements and Hayward's Mission, Vision, and Values.

    • Schedule candidate interviews with the hiring manager and interview team.

    • Facilitating the decision meetings, including convening interviewers, and documenting decisions and next steps.

    • Monitor job offers and proactively raise concerns regarding alignment of candidate expectations as compared to current compensation practices.

    • Manage the pre-employment and onboarding process for new hires.

    • Assist with facilitating the new hire orientation.

  • Partner with employment agencies, community organizations, colleges, and universities to attract talent.

  • Execute sourcing searches which may include cold calling, networking, identifying applicant associations/pools/professional groups and affiliations, websites, Boolean searches, targeted companies/individuals, use of analytics tools, etc.

  • Leverage online recruiting resources, such as niche job boards, associations, LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, career center websites and ATS to identify and recruit the very best candidates.

  • Utilize appropriate social media sourcing and branding tools to support talent attraction.

  • Communicate positive candidate impressions of Hayward's culture, work environment and total rewards practices; clear understanding and communication of benefits and perks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3+ years' experience of full cycle corporate recruiting for a variety of disciplines in the manufacturing industry (Finance, IT, Marketing, Sales, Operations, etc.)

  • Experience with Workday Recruit ATS

  • Strong Sourcing skills and excellent understanding of Social Media sites, LinkedIn, Boolean Web Strings, etc.

  • Highly developed passive recruiting skills: i.e. prospect identification, cold calling, referral generation, competitive intel-gathering

Other Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral), client-support orientation, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and with a wide range of clients.

  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance team environment

  • Interest in related projects and responsibilities when hiring needs slow (e.g. recruiting operations, ATS migration, professional development, L&D, employee relations, etc.)

  • Must be able to work well under pressure and have the flexibility to assist team in meeting client demands on accelerated schedules.

  • Ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously.

  • Sound and proven judgement and decision-making skills. Ability to maintain professionalism and handle sensitive documents and confidential information with discretion.
