We areย seekingย a highly experiencedย THzย IC Designย Engineerย to join our growing team. In this role, you willย be the technical lead in theย design and development ofย cutting-edgeย mixed-signal ICs.ย You will be involved in the technical aspects of theย THzย IC design and development, from concept through to production. This is a hands-on technical position that requires in-depth technicalย expertise, and the ability to work in a team of highly experienced engineers toย accomplishย the goals.ย 

Key Responsibilities:ย 

  • Design and development ofย THzย ICsย forย cutting edgeย AI and Cloud Computing systemsย ย 
  • Ownership ofย the full design cycle, including architecture definition, block-level design, simulation, verification,ย layoutย and evaluationย 
  • Drive high-speedย ICย design, >100GHzย bandwidthย inย Si, SiGeย andย III-Vย semiconductor technologiesย 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensureย timelyย project execution and design tape-outsย 
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies inย wideband high speedย IC design and apply them to improve project outcomesย 
  • Occasional travel to the Bay Area (<10%)ย for remote positionย 

Qualifications:ย 

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience inย III-V (GaAs,ย GaNย andย InP)ย ICย designย in Bipolar and HEMTย process technologies.ย 
  • Provenย expertiseย in designing high-speed interconnects,ย voltage-controlledย oscillatorsย (VCOs), multi-phase clock generation, travelling wave amplifierย (TWA),ย mixers (active and passive)ย 
  • Strong background in analogย functional blocksย design, includingย ESD, matching networksย ย 
  • Strong communication, leadership, andย project management skillsย 

Education:ย 

  • Master's Degree (MEng) in Electrical Engineering or related field isย requiredย 
  • A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computerย Engineeringย or a related field is preferredย 

Preferredย Skills:ย 

  • Experience withย high speedย deviceย technologies.ย 
  • Understanding tradeoffย at the device level for high performance ASIC implementationย 
  • Ability to drive innovation and implementย new designย methodologies.ย 
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with a strongย track recordย of delivering high-quality designs on time.ย
