You’ll also be responsible for securely packaging samples for transport to the lab and updating records using electronic systems from your home office. Communication with patients, healthcare providers, and laboratory personnel is a key part of the job. The role offers a mix of fieldwork and remote administrative duties, providing flexibility while requiring excellent time management and adherence to strict handling protocols.
A Work From Home Lab Specimen Collector is responsible for collecting biological samples, such as saliva or urine, from patients in a remote or mobile setting. They may coordinate appointments, provide instructions for self-collection, and ensure proper packaging and transportation of specimens to a lab.
