Communication with patients, healthcare providers, and laboratory personnel is a key part of the job. A Work From Home Lab Specimen Collector is responsible for collecting biological samples, such as saliva or urine, from patients in a remote or mobile setting. They may coordinate appointments, provide instructions for self-collection, and ensure proper packaging and transportation of specimens to a lab. While the job offers flexibility, it still requires adherence to strict safety and handling guidelines. Some roles may involve traveling to patients' homes or designated collection sites.
