The ideal candidate must have 3+ years of professional medical coding experience, strong expertise in Evaluation & Management (E/M) and orthopedic surgery coding, and hands-on experience with the MEDITECH platform.
Graduation and a valid professional coding certification are mandatory requirements for this position.
Key Responsibilities
• Review medical records and physician documentation to accurately assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Perform accurate E/M coding based on medical decision-making and/or time, as supported by documentation.
