100% Remote | Work from Home

Join EMPLOYERS as a Senior Claims Adjuster I and manage complex California workers' compensation claims while making a meaningful impact for injured workers and policyholders.

Required: California Workers' Compensation claims adjusting experience and availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST.

What You'll Do
  • Manage moderate to high-exposure California workers' compensation claims from investigation through resolution

  • Determine compensability, establish reserves, and administer medical and indemnity benefits

  • Handle litigation, coordinate with defense counsel, and develop settlement strategies

  • Proactively manage claim costs, medical treatment, and claim outcomes

  • Deliver exceptional service to policyholders, injured workers, and business partners

  • Mentor team members and serve as a claims resource when needed

What We're Looking For
  • 7+ years of workers' compensation claims experience, including complex claims

  • Strong knowledge of California workers' compensation laws and regulations

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment

Preferred
  • WCCP, AIC, ARM, CPCU, or similar designation

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
